People are actually organizing to take care of their businesses as well as their homes in the department of Paysandu. This is in light of the fact that crime has increase in the area and has done so in a significant proportion.
The "Citizens Defense Squadron" is being formed in order to attempt to curb the crime that is going on in the area at this moment in time.
Recently, President Tabare Vasquez was sent a letter that was asking him to take immediate action, due to the rampant situation.
