European privacy regulators' moves could hit Facebook

Social networking sites such as Facebook will have a harder time increasing their profits as European privacy regulators try to restrict the way Internet groups get user access.
This is the first attempt of its kind to address the open application platforms like that of Facebook's, which, when run on these social platforms, may be able to get user information.
