problem homes in england are to be monitored for child safety

09/20/09 10:28

Twenty thousand problem families in England are to be placed under CCTV surveillance according to the Children's Secretary. The plan is costing about four hundred million pounds and they are hoping to have the families under twenty four hour surveillance.

The reasons for monitoring them is to be sure that the children are attending school, going to bed on time and eating proper meals.

I guess if a family is known for being a problem family that this may help to solve a problem or a few, but what is to stop them from putting those CCTV cameras into any home in which they feel like. This is absolutely preposterous.
