Book on Tech-Light Hacking and Social Engineering

By Website Introductions at 10/31/08 04:30

Any privacy advocate will be probably nervous with the release of the book, "No Tech Hacking: A Guide to Social Engineering, Dumpster Diving, and Shoulder Surfing".

McCain's presidential campaign complained to YouTube regarding the pulling off of electioneering event videos because they contain copyrighted material.

YouTube responded that those the videos pulled off aren't so important that they're exempt from digital rights concerns.

A letter was sent to Trever Potter, general counsel of the McCain-Palin 2008 campaign by Zahava Levine of YouTube, chief counsel posted at Cnet as a reply to their complaints.

By Website Introductions at 10/14/08 00:30
I personally find it disgusting that scam artists still have the heart to trick people to giving out personal information in the midst of a financial crisis.

Yes, the US government warns of scam artists, especially phishers, who send out emails that look as if they came a bank and whose purpose is just to trick you into giving out personal information.

More details here at the Washington Post.
