A web bug is typically an object embedded in an object without the user's consent. It allows the website to check and track a user's web activity, which can go around the user's privacy.
The new iPhone OS 2.0's Mail feature has a switch that may be able to hold these Web bugs ineffective. Learn more about this feature here.
