World-wide phenomenal social-media Facebook, seems to be re-thinking their position of privacy.

In the recent TechCrunch Disrupt conference in New York City, Facebook's Vice President Chris Cox, announced that they would be rolling out a simplified privacy settings for the users.

This came in after the controversial and complicated privacy settings of Facebook which could allow people to have more control over their privacy but actually exposed more information to the public rather protecting it.

MySpace used to dominate the arena of social networking and have a great share of the American market. Years ago, another social media site (facebook) took their glory with flashy features, apps, and more, ravaging not only the American market but the whole planets also.

There always seems to be issues

It it said that only recently there had been just about fifteen privacy as well as consumer protection organizations who all rushed in to the Federal Trade Commission.

It is said that the big rush was all about filing a complaint against Facebook, in which the claim had been that user privacy settings had been manipulated by the social networking website.

It is said that such action is a thing that would simply make the personal information of an individual user become available for commercial use.
