Your name?
Bob Brown
Your Location (city, etc)
Orlando
Please give us a short summary of your website?
This website was set up to sale spy products over the Internet at the best prices that are available.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I am a private investigator and have used many of the products that I offer for sale. I test most of the products that we sell and if they do not reach my standards I will not advertise them.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
I first website was launched about 20 years ago the name of that site is www.pibrown.com it is still up and running today feel free to check it out.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
The name U-Snoop comes from the thoughts that most of us are little Snoopy. Having been a private investigator for the past 42 years I've done my share of snooping that with the fact that we sell products that can be used to snoop around why not the name U-Snoop.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
I believe the difference in our website is the fact that most of our products are tested by me being an investigator and available to discuss either by phone or on the Web what products can do hurt. Starting in 2008 we will be repricing all our products for greatest savings in us by market today.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
My goal is to have a dynamite friendly website selling to customers and other private investigators.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I feel I have been very successful in my private investigative career having been listed as one of the top 10 investigators in a nation. I have set up four Spy Stores in the Orlando, Florida area. I not feel my U-Snoop will be just as successful as my other endeavors.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I feel that GPS tracking systems, to track children, pets, people and vehicles is the way of the future and I would like to develop my website to head in that direction.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Why not I have the resources.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Not much at this point however we are planning to redo our website the first of the year. And we could have some problems but at this point I'm not anticipating any.
What has been your biggest challenge?
I guess not having enough time.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Word-of-mouth and e-mails to the investigative industry.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Having had website over the past 20 years I have not found this site to be much different. On our other site we are selling services and on this one products. But people don't visit your site you don't so much of either.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
This site has been up now for about six months and as long as it's producing it will remain up.
What brings success
I think you are truthful, honest and have determination you can be successful at whatever you attempt to do.
