It's an actual full-time job that employees people who are knowledgeable in this industry.

When I'm ready to retire I will sell the company.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I didn't realize the magnitude of time and effort that goes into promoting and tweaking a website.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I started this in June of 2002 and I'm sure I will continue this for at least another 10 years.
