Name of your website?

safevpn.net

Your name?

Alex Rybakou

Your Location (city, etc)

Prague

Please give us a short summary of your website?

It's an internet service for those who care privacy. It will help also to bypass ISP or administrator blockages or traffic throttles. The service will provide strong encryption, so it's also useful in public internet access points or using wireless solutions.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Just strong interest in security

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

It was just a blog

How did you decide on a name for your website?

The name is about safety and virtual private networking (VPN)

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

The site is offering several VPN technologies, will give the users EU or US IP upon their choice. Test account will be provided prior to purchase to make the customer sure it will work

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

The aim is to enlarge the service by implementing different security technologies to allow customers to use all modern services in this branch

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

It's spent a lot of both these valuable resources

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

The service would offer more country-based IPs

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes, we are the team of professionals

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

There were no headaches, just costs of our providers were raised several times

What has been your biggest challenge?

The biggest challenge was to hear a report that someone has became happy using our service

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

google rocks as usual

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It's pretty close to them

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

We'll run it until demand will exist. Until some governments will block traffic. Until some providers will shape the traffic. Until bits are running through internet channels. Until we are happy to breath the air.

What is your mission?

We claim to bring peace to everyone who need it. We believe everyone should leave without a fear. We did the service to come closer to our dream

What is your website address?

What is VPN and why do you need it?

There are many reasons and cases where VPN can be used. The first one – you can use VPN to hide your real IP address and become anonymous online. Another reason to use VPN is when you need to download some files from the other network which bans IP addresses from your country. Using anonymous VPN surfing you can get an access to those data. One more important reason to use VPN is a necessity to code your traffic. In all the cases if you use VPN you will have a dedicated IP address from the other network and all your traffic will be sent between your computer and VPN server in a coded view that exclude incursion and analys of your data. If you use one of the WI-FI networks (these are public and usually free networks) we strongly recommend you to use VPN to save your personal information that can be easy intercepted in the WI-FI networks. Full security can be reached only if you strictly follow the rules of using you operational system. VPN guarantes 128-bit data coding. Talking about anonymity we can say with certainty that this idea is comparative. Laws in many countries (Germany, USA, China, etc.) forbid Internet users to download mp3 and video from the net. VPN allows you to surf anonymous without any restrictions. Also with VPN you can prevent interception of the data which you send to your friends, partners and other people. Anonymous VPN give you an access to the information that was forbidden for you because of your race, some political rules, your country laws, etc.

We use a vpn to secure connectivity - this eliminates the need to expose internal systems to the whole wide world. Related to topic- proxy
